Kate MacDuffie, PhD MA, is an Assistant Professor at the Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics at Seattle Children’s Research Institute, and in the Division of Bioethics & Palliative Care, Department of Pediatrics, University of Washington School of Medicine. Trained in clinical neuroscience, psychology and bioethics, Dr. MacDuffie's research is focused on understanding the ethical and social impacts of implementing biomedical technologies--including genomic technologies--on young children, families, and service systems.
